Brushing Properly
Brush your teeth twice a day, once in the morning and once at night before you go to bed, for at least three minutes at a time with a soft toothbrush. Use toothpaste that has fluoride because it helps make your teeth even stronger! Brushing your teeth helps to remove food that's stuck inside or between teeth, and it also removes plaque.

Here's how you should brush your teeth for a bright smile:
1. Place the toothbrush against your gumline, where the teeth and gums meet, at a 45-degree angle. Use a small circular motion to brush your teeth and gums.
2. Brush the inner surfaces or backs of your front teeth with the front part of your toothbrush.
3. Brush back and forth on the chewing surfaces of your teeth holding the brush flat.

Remember to replace your toothbrush every three months!

Flossing Properly
Flossing cleans between teeth where a toothbrush can't reach, and also helps you from having bad breath! Here's how to floss:
1. Measure a piece of dental floss the same length as your arm.
2. Wrap one end of the floss around your right pointer finger and left pointer finger.
3. Look into a mirror and gently slide the floss between your teeth.
4. As the floss reaches the gum line, make a C-shape around the tooth until you feel pressure against your tooth.
5. Gently scrape the tooth with the floss. Do the same thing for each of your teeth.

Remember to floss your teeth every night before you go to bed!
